بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ
1
وَيْلٌ لِّلْمُطَفِّفِينَ
2
الَّذِينَ إِذَا اكْتَالُوا عَلَى النَّاسِ يَسْتَوْفُونَ
3
وَإِذَا كَالُوهُمْ أَو وَّزَنُوهُمْ يُخْسِرُونَ
4
أَلَا يَظُنُّ أُولَئِكَ أَنَّهُم مَّبْعُوثُونَ
5
لِيَوْمٍ عَظِيمٍ
6
يَوْمَ يَقُومُ النَّاسُ لِرَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ
7
كَلَّا إِنَّ كِتَابَ الْفُجَّارِ لَفِي سِجِّينٍ
8
وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا سِجِّينٌ
9
كِتَابٌ مَّرْقُومٌ
10
وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
11
الَّذِينَ يُكَذِّبُونَ بِيَوْمِ الدِّينِ
12
وَمَا يُكَذِّبُ بِهِ إِلَّا كُلُّ مُعْتَدٍ أَثِيمٍ
13
إِذَا تُتْلَى عَلَيْهِ آيَاتُنَا قَالَ أَسَاطِيرُ الْأَوَّلِينَ
14
كَلَّا بَلْ رَانَ عَلَى قُلُوبِهِم مَّا كَانُوا يَكْسِبُونَ
15
كَلَّا إِنَّهُمْ عَن رَّبِّهِمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ لَّمَحْجُوبُونَ
16
ثُمَّ إِنَّهُمْ لَصَالُو الْجَحِيمِ
17
ثُمَّ يُقَالُ هَذَا الَّذِي كُنتُم بِهِ تُكَذِّبُونَ
18
كَلَّا إِنَّ كِتَابَ الْأَبْرَارِ لَفِي عِلِّيِّينَ
19
وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا عِلِّيُّونَ
20
كِتَابٌ مَّرْقُومٌ
21
يَشْهَدُهُ الْمُقَرَّبُونَ
22
إِنَّ الْأَبْرَارَ لَفِي نَعِيمٍ
23
عَلَى الْأَرَائِكِ يَنظُرُونَ
24
تَعْرِفُ فِي وُجُوهِهِمْ نَضْرَةَ النَّعِيمِ
25
يُسْقَوْنَ مِن رَّحِيقٍ مَّخْتُومٍ
26
خِتَامُهُ مِسْكٌ وَفِي ذَلِكَ فَلْيَتَنَافَسِ الْمُتَنَافِسُونَ
27
وَمِزَاجُهُ مِن تَسْنِيمٍ
28
عَيْنًا يَشْرَبُ بِهَا الْمُقَرَّبُونَ
29
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ أَجْرَمُوا كَانُوا مِنَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا
يَضْحَكُونَ
30
وَإِذَا مَرُّوا بِهِمْ يَتَغَامَزُونَ
31
وَإِذَا انقَلَبُوا إِلَى أَهْلِهِمُ انقَلَبُوا فَكِهِينَ
32
وَإِذَا رَأَوْهُمْ قَالُوا إِنَّ هَؤُلَاءِ لَضَالُّونَ
33
وَمَا أُرْسِلُوا عَلَيْهِمْ حَافِظِينَ
34
فَالْيَوْمَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مِنَ الْكُفَّارِ يَضْحَكُونَ
35
عَلَى الْأَرَائِكِ يَنظُرُونَ
36
هَلْ ثُوِّبَ الْكُفَّارُ مَا كَانُوا يَفْعَلُونَ
Les fraudeurs (Al-Mutaffifune)

Malheur aux fraudeurs
2
qui, lorsqu’ils font mesurer pour eux-mêmes exigent la pleine
mesure,
3
et qui lorsqu’eux-mêmes mesurent ou pèsent pour les autres,
[leur] causent perte.
4
Ceux-là ne pensent-ils pas qu’ils seront ressuscités,
5
en un jour terrible,
6
le jour où les gens se tiendront debout devant le Seigneur de
l’Univers ?

Non... ! Mais en vérité le livre des libertins sera dans le Sijjîn
-
8
et qui te dira ce qu’est le Sijjîn ? -
9
Un livre déjà cacheté (achevé).
10
Malheur, ce jour-là, aux négateurs,
11
qui démentent le jour de la Rétribution.

Or, ne le dément que tout transgresseur, pécheur :
13
qui, lorsque Nos versets lui sont récités, dit : « [Ce sont] des
contes d’anciens ! »

Pas du tout, mais ce qu’ils ont accompli couvre leurs cœurs.
15
Qu’ils prennent garde ! En vérité ce jour-là un voile les
empêchera de voir leur Seigneur,
16
ensuite, ils brûleront certes, dans la Fournaise ;
17
on [leur] dira alors : « Voilà ce que vous traitiez de
mensonge ! »

Qu’ils prennent garde ! Le livre des bons sera dans l’Illiyûn
-

et qui te dira ce qu’est l’Illiyûn ? -
20
un livre cacheté !

Les rapprochés [d’Allah : les Anges] en témoignent.
22
Les bons seront dans [un Jardin] de délice,
23
sur les divans, ils regardent.
24
Tu reconnaîtras sur leurs visages, l’éclat de la félicité.
25
On leur sert à boire un nectar pur, cacheté,
26
laissant un arrière-goût de musc. Que ceux qui la convoitent
entrent en compétition [pour l’acquérir]
27
Il est mélangé à la boisson de Tasnîm,
28
source dont les rapprochés boivent.
29
Les criminels riaient de ceux qui croyaient,
30
et, passant près d’eux, ils se faisaient des œillades,
31
et, retournant dans leurs familles, ils retournaient en
plaisantant,
32
et les voyant, ils disaient : « Ce sont vraiment ceux-là les
égarés ».
33
Or, ils n’ont pas été envoyés pour être leurs gardiens.
34
Aujourd’hui, donc, ce sont ceux qui ont cru qui rient des
infidèles
35
sur les divans, ils regardent.

Est-ce que les infidèles ont eu la récompense de ce qu’ils
faisaient ?

Woe to the stinters who,

when they measure against the people, take full measure
3
but, when they measure for them or weigh for them, do skimp.
4
Do those not think that they shall be raised up
5
unto a mighty day
6
a day when mankind shall stand before the Lord of all Being?
7
No indeed; the Book of the libertines is in Sijjin;
8
and what shall teach thee what is Sijjin?
9
A book inscribed.
10
Woe that day unto those who cry it lies,
11
who cry lies to the Day of Doom;
12
and none cries lies to it but every guilty aggressor.
13
When our signs are recited to him, he says, ‘Fairy-tales of the ancients!’
14
No indeed; but that they were earning has rusted upon their hearts.
15
No indeed; but upon that day they shall be veiled from their Lord,
16
then they shall roast in Hell.
17
Then it shall be said to them, ‘This is that you cried lies to.’
18
No indeed; the book of the pious is in Illiyun;
19
and what shall teach thee what is Illiyun?

A book inscribed,
21
witnessed by those brought nigh.
22
Surely the pious shall be in bliss,
23
upon couches gazing;
24
thou knowest in their faces the radiancy of bliss
25
as they are given to drink of a wine sealed
26
whose seal is musk -- so after that let the strivers strive --
27
and whose mixture is Tasnim,
28
a fountain at which do drink those brought nigh.
29
Behold, the sinners were laughing at the believers,
30
when them passed them by winking at one another,
31
and when they returned to their people they returned blithely,
32
and when they saw them they said, ‘Lo, these men are astray!’
33
Yet they were not sent as watchers over them.
34
So today the believers are laughing at the unbelievers,
35
upon couches gazing.
36
Have the unbelievers been rewarded what they were doing?
Defrauding
Revealed at Mecca
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.
1
Woe unto the defrauders:
2
Those who when they take the measure from mankind demand it full,
3
But if they measure unto them or weight for them, they cause them loss.
4
Do such (men) not consider that they will be raised again"
5
Unto an Awful Day,
6
The day when (all) mankind stand before the Lord of the Worlds?
7
Nay, but the record of the vile is in Sijjin -
8
Ah! what will convey unto thee what Sijjin is! -
9
A written record.
10
Woe unto the repudiators on that day!
11
Those who deny the Day of Judgment"
12
Which none denieth save each criminal transgressor,
13
Who, when thou readest unto him Our revelations, saith: (Mere) fables of the men of old.
14
Nay, but that which they have earned is rust upon their hearts.
15
Nay, but surely on that day they will be covered from (the mercy of) their Lord.
16
Then lo! they verily will burn in hell,
17
And it will be said (unto them): This is that which ye used to deny.
18
Nay, but the record of the righteous is in ’Illiyin -
19
Ah, what will convey unto thee what ’Illiyin is! -
20
A written record,
21
Attested by those who are brought near (unto their Lord).
22
Lo! the righteous verily are in delight,
23
On couches, gazing,
24
Thou wilt know in their faces the radiance of delight.
25
They are given to drink of a pure wine, sealed,
26
Whose seal is musk - for this let (all) those strive who strive for bliss -
27
And mixed with water of Tasnim,
28
A spring whence those brought near (to Allah) drink.
29
Lo! the guilty used to laugh at those who believed,
30
And wink one to another when they passed them;
31
And when they returned to their own folk, they returned jesting;
32
And when they saw them they said: Lo! these have gone astray.
33
Yet they were not sent as guardians over them.
34
This day it is those who believe who have the laugh of disbelievers,
35
On high couches, gazing.
36
Are not the disbelievers paid for what they used to do?

and this book, as some think, derives its name from thence, because it will

II. Hìc etiam in scenam retrudit
Mahumetus Paradisum suum. Atqui mirabile est illius ingenium, quòd, cùm
toties illum in Alcorano proponat, ad evitandam tamen legentium, vel
audientium nauseam, semper aliquid novi facetè adjungat. Alibi vinum ;
hìc purissimum : alibi in cyathis, aut cantharis ; hìc in cadis, vel
doliis obsignatis exhibet. Piget has nugas toties refricare : libet
nihilominùs illud à Moslemis curiosiùs exquirere, cur scilicet vinum in
cadis obsignatis Cęlites habeant, quos resignare nulli liceat, nisi
ipsis. An ne ad vina ipsa incorrupta servanda, ne evanescant, aut
acescant ? an verò ad eadem à furacibus ministrorum manibus, gulaque
custodienda ? Neutrum puto dicere volent. Dicant saltem, Prophetam suum
magnum esse nebulonem, qui tàm futilia, ac ridicula in Paradiso
reperiri, vel sibi, vel aliis persuadere conetur. Non possum hìc
dissimulare admirationem meam, cur Mahumetus, cùm alibi vinum, ut rem
illicitam, atque immundam, diabolique inventum damnaverit, hìc tamen
adeò illud commendet, ut cellaria in Paradiso, cadosque sigillo munitos
ad vinum servandum reponat : atque ad illius potum aspirare jubeat eum,
qui ad veram felicitatem aspirat. Respondebunt Moslemi, vinum Paradisi
non esse ejusdem generis, ac nostrum. Verùm non negabunt esse vinum.

«وإذا كالوهم» أي كالوا لهم «أو وزنوهم» أي وزنوا لهم «يُخْسِرون» ينقصون الكيل أو الوزن.

«ثم إنهم لصالوا الجحيم» لداخلوا النار المحرقة.

«على الأرائك» السرر في الحجال «ينظرون» ما أعطوا من النعيم.

«تعرف في وجوههم نضرة النعيم» بهجة التنعم وَحُسنه.

«يُسقوْن من رحيق» خمر خالصة من الدنس «مختوم» على إنائها لا يفك ختمه غيرهم.

«ختامه مسك» أي آخر شربه تفوح من رائحة المسك «وفي ذلك فليتنافس المتنافسون» فليرغبوا بالمبادرة إلى طاعة الله.

«ومزاجه» أي ما يمزج به «من تسنيم» فُسر بقوله:

«عينا» فنصبه بأمدح مقدرا «يشرب بها المقربون» منها، أو ضمن يشرب معنى يلتذ.

«إن الذين أجرموا» كأبي جهل ونحوه «كانوا من الذين آمنوا» كعمار وبلال ونحوهما «يضحكون» استهزاءً بهم.

«وإذا مروا» أي المؤمنون «بهم يتغامزون» يشير المجرمون إلى المؤمنين بالجفن والحاجب استهزاء.

«وإذا انقلبوا» رجعوا «إلى أهلهم انقلبوا فاكهين» وفي قراءة فكهين معجبين بذكرهم المؤمنين.

«وإذا رأوْهم» أي المؤمنين «قالوا إن هؤلاء لضالون» لإيمانهم بمحمد صلى الله عليه وسلم.

قال تعالى: «وما أرسلوا» أي الكفار «عليهم» على المؤمنين «حافظين» لهم أو لأعمالهم حتى يدروهم إلى مصالحهم.

«فاليوم» أي يوم القيامة «الذين آمنوا من الكفار يضحكون».

«على الأرائك» في الجنة «ينظرون» من منازلهم إلى الكفار وهم يعذبون فيضحكون منهم كما ضحك الكفار منهم في الدنيا.

«هل ثُوِّبَ» جوزي «الكفار ما كانوا يفعلون» نعم.
